A beautiful little town to visit, Cold Spring is home to world-renowned Surprise Lake Camp. The camp boasts some famous childhood attendees like Neil Diamond and Larry King, and we assume gets its name from the “first night” ritual of tossing hapless campers out of their canoes. (If you’re wondering why Larry King has a fear of boats, start here.)
