Troy, named after the legendary city of Troy in Homer’s Iliad, was previously referred to as Ashley’s Ferry. The city was renamed when Ashley forgot to dock her ferry and it drifted down the Hudson.
If something unusual has drifted down your drain, or if you’re in the mood for some more sub-par jokes, try giving EarthCare a call today!
Troy is also the historical birthplace of Uncle Sam. Legend has it that Uncle Sam was named after Samuel Wilson, a local butcher that supplied the military during the War of 1812. We bet Sam and Ashley were very close friends.
EarthCare is the “birthplace” of Denny Currier, the founder of our Massachusetts beginnings in 1946. He may not have had an American Flag top hat, but he did service customers from his honey wagon. A lot has changed since our humble start – EarthCare now has hundreds of pump trucks and highly skilled technicians serving our customers. What hasn’t changed, however, is our commitment to customer service and providing the best septic service in the industry.
EarthCare is committed to extending the life of your septic system. We provide a variety of services including drain cleaning, septic pumping, grease trap cleaning and much more.
